This full-time remote position focuses on delivering high-quality mental health care to individuals who have experienced trauma. Work Environment\n

The role is designed for a remote work setting, which promotes a flexible work-life balance while adhering to a structured work schedule. Therapists will be available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility required to accommodate patients’ needs. The ability to create a personal, yet professional connection with clients virtually is key to our model of care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and tailor appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Design, implement, and oversee personalized treatment plans that aim for trauma recovery and resilience-building, ensuring each client’s journey is unique and focused on their individual goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively address trauma-related issues.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that enable clients to process their trauma, cultivate adaptive coping strategies, and advance their healing journey.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure the seamless provision of integrated care to patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients feel safe and supported during distressing times.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources, enhancing their understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring a thorough record of diagnostic assessments, treatment progress, and outcomes.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities, fostering continuous improvement in trauma-informed care practices.

• Engage in ongoing education to stay current with the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in trauma therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon is required.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a relevant mental health setting is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies is essential.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach toward clients.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and effectively manage crisis scenarios.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications to facilitate patient documentation and care tracking.

• Ability to function collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, enhancing the continuity of care.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of relevant experience are mandatory, we value additional experience and training in trauma-focused therapies. A strong background in working with diverse populations will also be beneficial in enhancing the therapeutic process for our clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
