Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately evaluate patients’ trauma histories and identify targeted treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and patient empowerment.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate a safe and inclusive group therapy atmosphere, promoting positive interactions and shared healing experiences among patients.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to deliver integrated and comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and stabilization.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and available support resources, fostering a holistic understanding of their conditions.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation, adhering to all legal and ethical standards set forth in the mental health field.

• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives that focus on trauma-informed care best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population, primarily consisting of individuals grappling with past traumatic experiences, PTSD, and related mental health challenges. Our approach is centered on understanding the complexity of trauma and the unique ways it affects each individual. As a therapist, you will play a critical role in guiding patients toward recovery and resilience, supporting their personal journeys with empathy and expertise.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in standard computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred. Candidates with a background in trauma-focused therapeutic practices, as well as experience in both group and individual settings, will be prioritized. An understanding of resilience-building approaches or familiarity with community resources for trauma survivors will be considered a significant advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n
