Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories, strengths, and needs, which will inform individualized treatment plans.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery, employing versatile therapeutic approaches to cater to the diverse needs of patients.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), facilitating effective healing processes.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and cultivate resilience.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated care approach that addresses the multifaceted needs of patients.

• Offer crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, providing critical support to patients and families in distress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals grappling with trauma, including survivors of abuse, violence, and sudden loss. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is strongly preferred, with an emphasis on trauma-informed practices.

• Extensive knowledge of various trauma-related disorders and familiarity with effective trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions, such as EMDR and TF-CBT.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress scenarios, ensuring patient trust and safety.

• Strong proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is required, candidates with additional experience in trauma-focused therapy and a history of working within mental health organizations focused on trauma recovery will stand out. Compensation and Benefits\n
