This position is structured to support a remote work model, reflecting our commitment to providing accessible mental health care. Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma background and develop appropriate treatment strategies.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and coping skills.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate recovery processes.

• Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions, aiding patients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals for an integrated care approach.

• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, ensuring prompt and effective support during emergencies related to trauma.

• Educate patients and their families on the nature of trauma, effective coping strategies, and community resources available to them.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development through participation in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing education focused on trauma-informed care.

This role targets individuals who have experienced trauma, particularly those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• Currently licensed as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating proficiency in trauma-informed therapeutic practices.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications to document care.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
