This position offers the convenience of a remote work setting, allowing mental health professionals to provide essential services from anywhere with a secure internet connection. Our telehealth model ensures that our clients have access to crucial support, accommodating their needs in a flexible manner. The typical work schedule runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's trauma history and collaboratively identify individualized treatment strategies.

• Develop and put into action tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and the enhancement of personal resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing processes.

• Engage in both individual and group therapy sessions to aid patients in processing their trauma, honing coping strategies, and fostering emotional healing.

• Work alongside psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate integrated mental health care tailored to each patient's needs.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support during critical episodes related to trauma, ensuring immediate and effective assistance.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma reactions, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential progress notes and documentation following all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional enrichment activities centered on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest developments in trauma therapy to provide the best possible care to patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work directly with individuals affected by trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patient population often requires nuanced approaches to healing and recovery, necessitating therapists with expertise in trauma-focused interventions and a deep understanding of the complexities of trauma responses.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• Strong foundational knowledge related to trauma disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building techniques.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in counseling or therapy, particularly involving trauma-focused treatments.

Compensation and Benefits\n
