Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma histories, determine their needs, and identify suitable therapeutic approaches.

• Formulate and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and cultivating resilience in clients.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients process past trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.

• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to offer a comprehensive care experience for clients.

• Deliver crisis intervention support during situations that demand immediate care for trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and available community resources to enhance their support systems.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by maintaining accurate and confidential clinical documentation.

• Participate in routine case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops that focus on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and innovations in trauma therapy to ensure the provision of top-notch care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your work will revolve around a diverse clientele that includes individuals who have experienced significant trauma, survivors of abuse, and individuals managing PTSD and related disorders. Your empathetic approach will be crucial in establishing rapport and trust, as many clients may have encountered social stigmas or negative experiences in previous therapeutic settings.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is mandatory.

• Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications to streamline patient care documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 and 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
