Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health using advanced assessment techniques.

• Develop individualized recovery plans in collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health care.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques to engage and inspire clients.
\n
• Track and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs and goals.
\n
• Collaborate closely with mental health specialists, primary care physicians, and social workers to create cohesive intervention strategies for clients.

• Provide ongoing support and guidance to families and primary caregivers, educating them on managing mental health challenges effectively.

• Monitor and manage referrals to other health services or specialists as needed to ensure comprehensive client care.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to cultivate strong therapeutic relationships.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabled by a genuine empathetic and caring demeanor.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor in outpatient settings is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and guidelines.
