In this full-time remote position, you will play a vital role in delivering specialized mental health services aimed at supporting individuals who have experienced trauma. Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while adhering to our structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. While maintaining a focus on individual patient care, occasional adjustments to your schedule may be necessary to accommodate patient needs. You'll be part of a supportive telehealth setting that fosters collaboration and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health evaluations to understand patients’ trauma histories and establish appropriate treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment programs with a focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma and develop effective coping skills.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, prioritizing patient safety.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on the effects of trauma, introducing them to coping techniques and available support resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation that aligns with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance your therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, focusing on those affected by PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clientele often includes members of the LGBTQ+ community, underscoring the importance of culturally competent care. Understanding and addressing the unique challenges faced by these individuals is central to our therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctorate degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist.

• A deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed therapy philosophies.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting empathy and support.
\n
• Ability to remain calm and provide assurance in stressful situations.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and related software applications.

• A collaborative mindset that promotes teamwork in a multidisciplinary setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience providing trauma-focused therapy, which is encouraged but not mandatory.
