This position offers the opportunity to work in a remote setting while primarily serving patients in our welcoming outpatient office located in Plano, Texas.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to glean insights into patients' trauma histories and tailor individualized treatment plans accordingly.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate recovery.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to promote healing, enhance coping skills, and help patients process their trauma effectively.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and allied health professionals, to deliver integrated patient care.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, stress management, and available community resources.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of patient records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist will primarily involve working with individuals who have experienced trauma in various forms. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience\n
