Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide therapeutic services to clients through various telehealth platforms, engaging in interactive sessions that foster trust and encourage open communication.

• Differentiate treatment approaches based on individual patient needs, employing evidenced-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).

• Collaborate closely with peers in weekly supervision sessions to refine clinical skills and approach, ensuring comprehensive patient care under the guidance of seasoned clinical staff.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, aligning with agency standards and governmental regulations.

• Participate in ongoing training and development sessions, enhancing professional capabilities to provide the best possible care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Counselor will primarily work with children, adolescents, and their families. This role provides the opportunity to engage with various age groups, extending cross-training opportunities to work with adult populations as well. Counselors will address issues ranging from anxiety and depression to family dynamics and behavioral challenges, making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals navigating these difficulties.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required. Master’s or Doctorate degrees in mental health counseling, social work, or psychology are preferred.

• Active, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.
