This position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing flexibility while maintaining the high standards of care we provide in our outpatient office. While the primary schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be necessary to meet the needs of our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health evaluations to assess clients' trauma histories and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Create and implement effective trauma recovery strategies that focus on building resilience and enhancing coping skills.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic techniques including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma and navigate their recovery journey.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive, integrated care for patients.
\n
• Offer immediate crisis intervention for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential records, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines regarding patient care.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma treatment methodologies to ensure the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will work primarily with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. This includes but is not limited to victims of abuse, veterans grappling with combat-related stress, and individuals affected by severe life events. Your expertise in trauma-informed therapy will be crucial in guiding these patients through their healing process.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting.

• In-depth understanding of trauma, its psychological impacts, and effective therapy techniques.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a nonjudgmental and empathetic approach to patient care.

• A calm demeanor under pressure and the ability to foster a supportive therapeutic relationship with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
