Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient's history and determine the most effective therapeutic approaches.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to meet individual patient needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through trauma processing and the development of effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies while maintaining calm and composure.

• Serve as an educational resource for patients and their families, offering insights into trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, particularly with trauma-focused therapies.

• Deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively.

• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and proficiency in relevant technology applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
