Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and inform treatment planning.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting recovery and resilience, tailored to each patient’s unique circumstances.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions focused on helping patients develop coping strategies and process their trauma effectively.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available resources to enhance their understanding and recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities focused on trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this crucial role, you will primarily work with individuals who are experiencing the effects of trauma, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Florida.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and actionable trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health setting, preferably focusing on trauma recovery.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 per year.
