Atlas Psychological and Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) to join our remote team based in Boston, Massachusetts. Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining the high standards of care required by our clinic. Our work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to adapt based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and determine suitable therapeutic approaches.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and building resilience, considering each individual’s unique circumstances and experiences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that enable clients to process traumatic experiences, cultivate coping strategies, and promote overall healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for all clients.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients feel safe and supported in times of distress.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping mechanisms to aid their recovery.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in adherence with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay updated on the latest research and best practice models in trauma therapy to continuously improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic primarily serves adults and adolescents who are navigating the challenges of trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and related mental health disorders. We take an individualized approach, recognizing that each client’s journey to recovery is unique and requires sensitive and tailored interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts.

• Strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience with trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building techniques.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• A capacity to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations, enabling safe and supportive care.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications, allowing for efficient documentation and communication.

• A collaborative mindset, ready to contribute positively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, focusing on trauma care and client management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000, dependent on qualifications and experience.
