Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to determine patients' trauma histories and outline appropriate and individualized treatment approaches.

• Develop personalized treatment plans focused on resilience-building and trauma recovery, using advanced therapeutic techniques.

• Implement evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist patients in processing trauma effectively.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients develop coping strategies, process their trauma, and enhance their overall psychological well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, guaranteeing that the treatment plan aligns with the patient's overall health needs.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and safety planning methods.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources, empowering them throughout their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will work with diverse clients, adapting your therapeutic approach to meet their specific needs and experiences. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n
