This full-time position allows for remote work and is specifically focused on providing specialized mental health care to individuals affected by trauma. Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while collaborating with a close-knit team committed to providing trauma-informed care. Our clinic values flexibility; therefore, while the typical work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasional adjustments may be necessary based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories, enabling the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and enhancing resilience, utilizing evidence-based interventions.
\n
• Deliver therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) into individual and group therapy sessions.

• Work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, facilitating the best possible outcomes.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional stability.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about common trauma-related responses, sustainable coping strategies, and the resources available for continued support.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage in case consultations, participate in team meetings, and pursue professional development opportunities related to trauma-informed care practices.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapies to continuously enhance service quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to support individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. We serve patients grappling with PTSD and other trauma-related disorders, including complex trauma and dissociative conditions. Our clientele represents a diverse background, requiring a therapist capable of providing empathetic and informed care tailored to each individual’s history and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Currently holds a valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field.
\n

• Competence in maintaining calm and professionalism in high-pressure scenarios.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.
