Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing for a flexible work schedule that complements the needs of both our patients and staff. The typical workweek runs from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain insight into patients' trauma history, ensuring precise evaluations that inform treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that center on trauma recovery, incorporating evidence-based practices and resilience-building exercises tailored to each patient.

• Utilize effective therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patients' healing processes.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, actively engaging patients in discussions aimed at processing trauma, developing vital coping strategies, and fostering overall emotional well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive and integrated care approach for our patients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during traumatic events, ensuring that patients receive immediate and compassionate care.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and resources for their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions, assessments, and treatment outcomes in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patients primarily consist of trauma survivors, including those affected by PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. They come from diverse backgrounds and age groups, each requiring tailored therapeutic interventions that respect their unique experiences and individual needs. Your role will focus on understanding and addressing these complexities, helping clients regain their sense of safety, empowerment, and agency in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably in trauma-informed care.

• Strong knowledge of psychological disorders related to trauma and proficiency in trauma-oriented treatment modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies with measurable positive outcomes.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills characterized by a compassionate, patient-centered, and non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to manage high-stress situations with composure and sensitivity.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other clinical documentation applications.

• A collaborative mindset, able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we encourage candidates with additional relevant experience or specialized training in trauma therapy to apply. Familiarity with the unique needs of trauma survivors and a commitment to ongoing education in this field will be highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
