Work Environment\n

This role is predominantly remote, utilizing telehealth technologies to connect with clients in a comfortable and flexible manner. Schedule flexibility is available to accommodate patient needs, with typical work hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, integrating techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to process their trauma, cultivate effective coping strategies, and advance on their paths to healing.
\n
• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that each patient receives well-rounded and integrated care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, helping to stabilize affected clients.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, maintaining open lines of communication regarding coping mechanisms and available support resources.
\n
• Accurately document patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with legal and ethical regulations, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

• Engage in case consultations and regular team meetings to promote continuous learning and enhance trauma-informed care approaches.

• Stay informed on current research and evolving best practices in trauma therapy, incorporating new insights into your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Strong foundational knowledge in trauma-related disorders, as well as familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building techniques.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems; experience with telehealth platforms is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, showcasing a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to care.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, ideally in trauma-focused environments.

• Evidence of delivering effective trauma-focused therapies and interventions in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
