Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the patients' trauma histories and formulate appropriate, individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to promote healing and resilience.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to integrate care and ensure comprehensive treatment for patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and trauma support when necessary, ensuring patient safety and emotional stability.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to foster a supportive environment for recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to continually enhance trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current with research, methodologies, and best practices pertaining to trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
