Work Environment\n

The role is entirely remote, providing flexibility to conduct sessions in a comfortable setting of your choice using our telehealth platform. You will engage with clients through video sessions, ensuring accessibility and convenience while maintaining the highest standards of care. Although your work will be predominantly independent, regular team meetings and consultations will allow you to collaborate with fellow professionals to enhance treatment effectiveness and coherence.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient’s unique history and psychological needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery, featuring interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, enabling clients to process their trauma and learn effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate proactively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, to coordinate integrated care tailored to patient needs.

• Respond to crisis situations, providing immediate support and interventions during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma coping mechanisms, resources, and healing practices.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development activities, staying updated on current research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Tennessee.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably in trauma therapy and interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
