Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote and leverages telehealth technology to deliver high-quality care. The workdays span Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility needed based on patient schedules. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' histories and current mental health status to formulate effective treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at healing trauma, fostering resilience, and ensuring client-centered interventions.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to promote recovery.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions focused on trauma processing and coping strategy development.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to provide holistic care and ensure integrated treatment approaches.

• Deliver crisis intervention and immediate support for clients in distress during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Provide educational resources to clients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping strategies, and available support services.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance trauma-informed care practices for our client population.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our center primarily serves survivors of trauma, including individuals affected by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. The clients you work with range from children to adults requiring tailored therapeutic approaches addressing their unique experiences with trauma. You will help guide these individuals toward recovery and empowerment, making a meaningful impact on their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

• A deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment methodologies are essential.

• Experience with trauma-focused therapeutic interventions is highly valuable.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a nurturing and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• The ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations will be crucial.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications to efficiently manage client documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, prior experience specifically working with trauma survivors and utilizing modalities like EMDR or TF-CBT will be viewed favorably. Advanced training in trauma-informed care will enrich your contributions and effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
