This position supports a remote work option, allowing flexibility in your work schedule while still maintaining a strong connection with our team and patients. Our work hours primarily run Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but some flexibility may be needed to meet the needs of our diverse client base. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients' trauma histories and inform appropriate treatment modalities.

• Design, implement, and regularly adjust individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, building resilience strategies, and encouraging patient autonomy.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process their trauma and learn effective coping mechanisms.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and additional mental health professionals to ensure cohesive and integrated patient care.

• Respond to trauma-related emergencies by providing immediate crisis intervention and support, guiding patients toward stabilization.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about the impact of trauma, including effective coping strategies and available resources for additional support.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in continuous professional development activities, participate in case consultations, and contribute to team meetings focused on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance personal expertise and service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients who have experienced trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and those suffering from PTSD and related conditions. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience working in mental health, particularly with trauma survivors.
\n
• Deep understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed care methodologies, and resilience-based strategies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and an ability to maintain a non-judgmental stance.

• Capability to remain composed and provide effective support during high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficiency in EHR systems and relevant computer applications.
\n
• A collaborative spirit with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
