This position is fully remote, enabling you to work from the comfort of your home while still contributing to an outpatient office framework. While most of your work will be independently conducted via telehealth platforms, you will be provided with the necessary tools and resources to ensure effective therapeutic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient's unique trauma history.
\n
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs of patients, focusing on resilience and recovery.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic frameworks, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to aid patients in processing trauma, developing coping strategies, and promoting healing.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to deliver integrated patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, offering immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available coping mechanisms to empower them on their recovery journey.
\n
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical requirements.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations and professional development opportunities to enhance trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continually improve the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to, emotional, physical, and sexual trauma. These clients may be dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, or associated dissociative disorders, requiring a deep understanding of trauma-informed care principles and the ability to create safe therapeutic spaces.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCPC, LCMFT, LMFT, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas.
\n
• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred.
\n
• Thorough knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based trauma-focused therapies.
\n
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, displaying compassion and a non-judgmental attitude.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

• Ability to manage high-stress situations with composure and professionalism.

• Experience collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team in a mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
