Work Environment\n

This position offers a unique opportunity to work remotely, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with clients from the comfort and safety of their own homes. The scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some adaptability required based on client availability and treatment needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, psychological needs, and readiness for treatment.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans focused on promoting resilience and facilitating trauma recovery, employing techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive environment for clients to discuss their experiences, develop coping strategies, and engage in the healing process.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and counselors, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for all clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients in trauma-related emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and crisis management strategies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, therapy goals, coping techniques, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient progress, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuous education activities centered around trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current with the latest research, methodologies, and evidence-based practices in trauma therapy to enhance client outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
