Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, utilizing evidence-based tools to evaluate clients' trauma histories and inform treatment decisions.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each client's needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to empower clients to process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote lasting healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to deliver integrated care for each patient, ensuring comprehensive therapeutic support.

• Administer crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, responding effectively and with empathy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other life-altering experiences. You will play a critical role in supporting clients through their trauma recovery process by establishing trusting relationships and offering evidence-based strategies for healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCP, LCPC, or LCMFT within the state of Kansas.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and effective resilience-building techniques.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, reflected in a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations while providing support to clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
