Work Environment\n

This position is designed for a remote work setting, offering flexibility while maintaining coordination within our multidisciplinary team. Therapists typically work from home, connected digitally to patients and colleagues, ensuring that quality care remains uninterrupted. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some adaptability to fit patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and gauge their current mental health status.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that target trauma recovery, emphasizing resilience-building strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, allowing patients avenues to process trauma and cultivate effective coping mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and fellow mental health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Respond to crisis situations with prompt intervention, offering support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available coping strategies, promoting awareness and understanding.

• Document all patient-related information accurately and maintain confidentiality, in line with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing case consultations and team meetings to ensure best practices in trauma-informed care are upheld.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients primarily consist of individuals recovering from trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and associated dissociative disorders. The work you do will profoundly impact these individuals as they navigate the challenges of their mental health and strive for healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine and compassionate approach to patient care.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, facilitating efficient patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

While we prefer candidates with at least two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, we value strong candidates who demonstrate a commitment to patient care and ongoing professional development. Experience with trauma-focused therapeutic interventions is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
