In this full-time remote position, you will play a critical role in the mental health recovery of individuals facing the challenges of trauma. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and therapeutic needs. \n
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that promote trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental well-being. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to provide effective interventions. \n
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to assist patients in processing trauma and enhancing coping mechanisms. \n
- Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary clinicians to ensure comprehensive and cohesive patient care. \n
- Offer immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, fostering a calm and stabilizing environment for patients. \n
- Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to foster understanding and empowerment. \n
- Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards. \n
- Engage in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. \n
- Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices concerning trauma therapy to enhance treatment efficacy. \n
Your work will focus on a diverse range of clients, primarily trauma survivors who are navigating complex emotional landscapes due to experiences of severe distress or trauma. This requires not only clinical expertise but also a compassionate understanding of the barriers that individuals may face in their recovery journeys.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California. \n
- A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, indicating a solid grounding in mental health counseling. \n
- Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities. \n

- Proven experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions. \n
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, showing compassion and understanding in all interactions. \n
- Proficiency in EHR systems and relevant computer applications. \n
