Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and tailor appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to promote trauma recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients in processing their trauma, developing coping mechanisms, and fostering healing.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for all patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies and ongoing support as needed.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources.

• Maintain accurate and secure documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the unique needs of trauma survivors, particularly those affected by PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds and face varied experiences, requiring a tailored approach that respects their individualized narratives and fosters empowerment through targeted therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proven ability to deliver trauma-focused therapies, integrating best practices into patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
