Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' trauma histories and establish appropriate treatment paths.

• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans that target trauma recovery and promote resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate recovery.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, enabling patients to process their experiences, build coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for each patient.

• Deliver crisis intervention as needed, offering immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, enhancing their understanding and engagement in treatment.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation per legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance and facilitating seamless care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to childhood abuse, domestic violence, and traumatic losses. You will work closely with these individuals to provide the necessary psychological support and care, adapting your approach to meet each patient's unique circumstances. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

Preferred Experience\n
