Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health evaluations to assess patient histories and select appropriate treatment modalities.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma healing, employing techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing patients a supportive space to process their experiences and develop essential coping skills.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to deliver integrated treatment and holistic care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring prompt and compassionate responses.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping strategies, and additional resources for support and healing.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to ethical and legal standards within the profession.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of our practice is to provide care for individuals who have experienced trauma. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or psychologist.

• A demonstrated understanding of trauma-informed care principles and various therapeutic approaches for trauma recovery.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a sensitive and nonjudgmental demeanor.

Preferred Experience\n

• While not mandatory, 2 years of post-licensure experience in providing trauma-focused therapy is highly encouraged.

Compensation and Benefits\n
