This full-time position offers an opportunity to provide remote outpatient therapy to individuals navigating the challenges of trauma. Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, yet part of a vibrant outpatient office setting, where you will connect with clients through telehealth as well as in-person sessions when necessary. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. This structure allows for a balanced work-life schedule while enabling you to provide crucial therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma histories, understanding their unique challenges and crafting appropriate intervention strategies.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that are goal-oriented and focused on the journey of trauma recovery, allowing clients to reclaim their narratives.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide clients through their healing processes.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a supportive space where clients can process their trauma, develop coping skills, and foster healing.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure integrated and holistic care for each patient.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients feel safe and supported at all times.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, promoting understanding of coping mechanisms and connecting them with essential resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, contributing to a culture of accountability and best practices.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focused on advancements in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing trauma-related challenges, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Licensure: Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
