Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and craft appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental health improvement.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, supporting clients in processing their trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and fostering emotional healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and integrated care approach for clients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring client safety and well-being.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, available resources, and coping mechanisms to aid in their understanding and navigation of recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document treatment progress.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings focused on sharing insights related to trauma-informed care best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic serves a diverse clientele, primarily consisting of individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will play a crucial role in guiding these individuals towards healing by addressing their unique emotional and psychological needs through specialized therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
