Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Implement individualized therapeutic interventions, employing evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing trauma, enhancing their coping mechanisms, and fostering resilience.

• Maintain close collaboration with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients.

• Offer educational resources and guidance to patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies.

• Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately and confidentially, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other distressing life events. Our focus is on understanding the unique experiences of each patient, providing a space for healing and growth, and helping them develop effective coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess a valid and current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Experience in using trauma-focused therapies is essential, along with proficiency in electronic health record systems.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage empathetically and effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
