Work Environment\n

This position is a remote role with occasional visits to our outpatient office in Kent, WA, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule. The standard hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some variation required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to explore patients' histories and tailor effective treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and psychological resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions to help patients process trauma and cultivate coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other medical professionals, to ensure holistic care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during situations involving trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the resources available for additional support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with all legal and ethical regulations.

• Engage in case consultations and participate in ongoing training focused on trauma-informed practices to enhance professional development.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in trauma therapy through continuing education and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Understanding the unique challenges that these patients face is vital in providing them with appropriate therapeutic support. By employing trauma-informed practices, you will help clients navigate their emotional landscapes and promote their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapy tailored to individual patient needs.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations while providing effective support to patients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years' post-licensure experience is desired, extensive familiarity with trauma therapy techniques and a solid track record of working with trauma-affected populations will set candidates apart. Candidates who possess additional certifications in relevant therapeutic modalities or have specialized training in trauma recovery will be particularly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position comes with a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
