The Atlas Psychological and Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) to join our remote team. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and establish appropriate treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience building, ensuring each plan is tailored to the patient's needs.

• Provide therapeutic interventions including but not limited to, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in processing trauma, developing effective coping strategies, and fostering healing in a supportive environment.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to provide integrated and holistic care for patients.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and immediate assistance as needed.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources, empowering them in their recovery process.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation regarding patient progress and interactions, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and training opportunities that focus on trauma-informed care best practices.
\n
• Stay informed about the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to continuously improve therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with adults who have experienced various forms of trauma, including childhood trauma, combat experience, and traumatic life events. Your expertise in understanding the complexities of trauma will enable you to provide the necessary support and interventions to help patients reclaim their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
\n
• Demonstrated strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, displaying a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor in all patient interactions.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms to ensure efficient patient management and documentation.
\n
• A collaborative spirit, capable of working harmoniously within a multidisciplinary team aimed at providing the best care for our patients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, particularly in trauma-focused therapy.

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, engaging effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• A track record of implementing evidence-based practices in assessing and treating trauma-related conditions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
