Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ individual history and determine personalized treatment strategies.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience, and comprehensive healing based on evidence-based practices.

• Utilize therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate clients' emotional processing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients cope with their trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and promote overall mental well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrative care tailored to each client's needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and available support resources, fostering a greater understanding of mental health.

• Maintain up-to-date, confidential documentation compliant with ethical standards and legal requirements.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance collaborative care and professional development focusing on trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults and adolescents affected by various forms of trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. This age-diverse population presents a spectrum of experiences that you will help navigate, ensuring each individual feels heard and supported.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Must hold valid, active licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• A demonstrated commitment to trauma-informed practices and understanding of trauma-related disorders.

• Strong interpersonal skills characterized by compassion, empathy, and the ability to build trust with clients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related software.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a direct service role, particularly with trauma-affected populations.
