Work Environment\n

This position offers remote working capabilities, which allows flexibility while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. While you will primarily work from your chosen location, you may occasionally engage with in-person sessions at our outpatient office in Yonkers. The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility needed to accommodate the diverse needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients’ trauma history and determine the most effective treatment approaches tailored to their unique needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans centered on trauma recovery, focusing on resilience-building techniques suitable for each patient.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, cultivate coping skills, and support their healing journey.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, employing assessment tools to ensure patient safety and stability.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in trauma-informed care settings.

• Solid understanding of trauma-related disorders, with expertise in trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-focused practices.

• Demonstrated experience in providing trauma-focused therapies and therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, embodying a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Touchstone Therapy Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
