Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to deliver high-quality mental health care from a location that suits your lifestyle while remaining connected to our dedicated team of professionals. Our clinic utilizes cutting-edge electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline communication and documentation, ensuring that our team can effectively collaborate on patient care. While the primary work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there may be some flexibility in scheduling to meet the unique needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to determine patients' trauma history, which will guide your therapeutic approach and treatment planning.

• Design and implement customized treatment plans that focus on various aspects of trauma recovery, including coping strategies and resilience-building techniques.

• Utilize established therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to deliver impactful interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to explore their feelings, develop coping strategies, and facilitate personal growth.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses all aspects of a patient’s well-being.

• Offer crisis intervention services to assist patients during moments of trauma-related emergencies, ensuring they receive timely support.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge about available resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards, ensuring continuity of care and safeguarding patient information.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance your skills in trauma-informed care and stay abreast of industry best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with a diverse patient population, which may include adults from different backgrounds seeking support in coping with the aftermath of traumatic experiences. Your expertise will help guide them through their recovery process, contributing to their overall mental health and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon is essential.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations, navigating the complexities of patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates with at least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, specifically with trauma-focused therapies. Familiarity with delivering evidence-based interventions and experience in collaborative care environments will set you apart as an ideal candidate.

Compensation and Benefits\n
