Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and develop appropriate treatment strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, enhancing resilience, and promoting overall mental well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, enabling patients to share experiences, develop coping mechanisms, and foster community healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and various professionals to ensure comprehensive care and consistent support for patients throughout their recovery journeys.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies and offer support for patients and their families in distressing situations.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping skills, and available community resources for continued support.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential records while adhering to ethical standards and legal guidelines concerning patient information.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to ensure high-quality, trauma-informed care is consistently delivered.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously improve patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. Our patients may present with symptoms associated with PTSD, complex trauma, or dissociative disorders. Each patient is unique, and you will have the opportunity to tailor your approach to their specific needs, fostering healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• A robust understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment techniques.
\n
• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining patient documentation.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a non-judgmental and supportive demeanor.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting trauma-focused therapy and interventions.

• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to an attractive salary, our benefits include:
