Work Environment\n

This role is based in a remote setting, allowing you to provide vital support and therapy from the comfort of your own home while still being a valued member of our collaborative organization. Your working hours will primarily be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility to accommodate the varying needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Bright Minds, you will:

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ backgrounds, needs, and treatment plan suitability.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that encompass therapeutic goals focused on resilience and trauma recovery.
\n
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to guide clients through processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.
\n
• Work in collaboration with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care and support.
\n
• To respond promptly and effectively to crisis situations, offering necessary interventions during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and care resources available to them.
\n
• Maintain precise, confidential records in adherence to legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in case consultations and contribute to team discussions aimed at improving trauma-informed care approaches.

• Stay updated on current research, methodologies, and best practices in trauma therapy.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC within the state of Texas.
\n
• A commitment to working with trauma-affected individuals, with strong knowledge of trauma disorders and treatment methodologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to create a nurturing environment for clients.

• An understanding of electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency with relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with diverse backgrounds in delivering trauma-focused therapies and crisis interventions are encouraged to apply. Experience in collaborative team-based settings will be a significant asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n
