Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to comprehensively evaluate each patient's trauma history and individual treatment needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing coping skills.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in your therapeutic practice.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process their experiences, develop resilience, and foster emotional healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care strategies tailored to each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on understanding trauma responses and available patient resources.

• Maintain accurate and secure documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards for patient confidentiality.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults and adolescents who have experienced trauma in various forms, such as physical, emotional, and psychological abuse. Our patients often present with complex issues associated with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. Your work will be pivotal in helping them navigate their recovery journeys by providing a safe space for exploration and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed care principles, and resilience-enhancing practices.

• Demonstrated expertise in delivering trauma-focused therapies and evidence-based interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and necessary computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing mental health therapy to clients, ideally with a focus on trauma-informed care, is preferred. Your background should include hands-on experience with diverse therapeutic techniques that support trauma recovery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
