Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and formulate individualized treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective interventions to clients.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, where clients can process their trauma experiences, learn coping strategies, and engage in supportive peer interactions.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support in trauma-related emergencies or distressful situations.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources to empower recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse clientele comprised of trauma survivors seeking dedicated support. With patients from various backgrounds facing challenges such as PTSD, complex trauma, and related mental health issues, you will engage with individuals at different stages of their healing journey, tailoring your approach to their unique needs and circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in direct clinical practice is preferred.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed methodologies, and resilience-building techniques.

• Experience with trauma-focused therapy approaches and interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to remain composed during high-stress situations and crises.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.

Compensation and Benefits\n
