Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with us, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' backgrounds and identify their specific treatment needs.

• Creating and implementing personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering recovery and building resilience in patients.

• Utilizing evidence-based trauma-focused therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address diverse trauma-related issues.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions to help patients learn coping strategies and process their trauma experiences.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to enhance the continuity and quality of care provided to patients.

• Providing crisis intervention and support during trauma emergencies, ensuring patients receive timely assistance and care.

• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses and available coping mechanisms, promoting engagement in their recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on supporting individuals navigating the effects of trauma, including survivors of abuse, military personnel, and first responders. Your expertise will be crucial in helping diverse clients overcome barriers to mental wellness, by addressing their unique experiences with compassion and understanding.

Qualifications\n

We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, preferably with a trauma focus.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective, evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Excellent interpersonal communication and empathy, with a non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to remain calm and composed during high-stress situations.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and a commitment to digital documentation best practices.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is required, candidates with specialized training in trauma therapy, familiarity with community mental health systems, or previous experience in a clinical setting will be given preference.

Compensation and Benefits\n
