Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, carefully evaluating patients' trauma histories to develop tailored treatment plans.

• Create and implement individualized treatment approaches that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, providing a platform for patients to process trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to guarantee integrated and comprehensive care for all patients.

• Respond promptly to trauma-related crises, providing immediate intervention and support as necessary.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, recovery options, and available resources to empower them throughout their healing journey.

• Maintain meticulous, accurate, and confidential documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage actively in professional development activities, case consultations, and team meetings to enhance trauma-informed practices within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clients often come from diverse backgrounds and may face unique challenges. A key focus will be helping them rebuild their lives through effective therapeutic interventions and support.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Genuine commitment to trauma-informed care and patient-centered treatment.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, resilience-building approaches, and trauma modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
