Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories, which will aid in creating effective treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery, resilience, and overall well-being.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focusing on helping patients process their trauma, build coping strategies, and promote healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other professionals within the healthcare team to coordinate holistic care for patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• Proven experience of at least two years post-licensure in a clinical setting, preferably focused on trauma recovery.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Demonstrated ability to apply trauma-focused therapeutic methods in practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster trust and rapport with patients, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Capability to remain composed in high-stress situations, assessing and addressing emergencies with professionalism.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology for patient management and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
