Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments as the first step in the therapeutic process, documenting each phase of care from initial consultation through treatment completion.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health to identify challenges and strengths, thus tailoring intervention strategies accordingly.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans, accommodating the needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups while focusing on achieving measurable outcomes.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that not only address diagnostic concerns but also promote positive coping mechanisms and resilience.

• Monitor and document client progress throughout the course of treatment, making necessary adjustments to plans based on ongoing evaluations.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers—including physicians, nurses, and social workers—to optimize patient care and ensure continuity of treatment.

• Assist in the management of referrals and liaise with healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, for clients requiring hospitalization or specialized care.

• Provide support to family members and primary caregivers, helping them navigate mental health challenges and fostering a supportive home environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will connect you with a diverse client base, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and other mental health disorders. Our clients range from youths to adults, each presenting unique challenges. You will work closely with them to promote healing and empower them to make meaningful changes in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated experience in the mental health counseling field, showcasing your ability to engage and support clients effectively.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
\n
• Strong understanding of co-occurring physical health conditions and their impact on mental wellness.
\n
• Proficient knowledge of best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal abilities that reflect a caring and empathetic approach.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients with addiction disorders or behavioral health issues.
\n
• A comprehensive understanding of psychopharmacology, particularly regarding the effects of medications used by clients.
\n
• Previous experience in a community health setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, plus a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
