Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing our therapists to work from the comfort of their own settings while remaining connected to our cohesive team. We prioritize flexibility in scheduling, as the nature of mental health care often necessitates adjustments based on patient needs. Our typical work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate clients effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities aimed at providing high-quality care:

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans focused on alleviating trauma symptoms and promoting resilience among patients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide therapeutic interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating an engaging space for patients to process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care.

• Provide urgent crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, maintaining a calm and supportive presence.

• Conduct educational sessions for patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to empower their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that adheres to organizational policies and legal requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals facing significant trauma impacts that manifest in various forms, including PTSD, anxiety disorder, and other trauma-induced symptoms. Our client population spans different ages, backgrounds, and experiences, all of whom are seeking support in their recovery processes.

Qualifications\n

To excel in this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• A solid foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment strategies.
\n
• Proven ability to deliver trauma-focused therapies.
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Competence in managing high-stress clinical situations calmly and effectively.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience as a mental health therapist is preferred, we value a strong commitment to patient care, a willingness to learn, and a passion for trauma-informed practices above all. Compensation and Benefits\n
