Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand the history and needs of clients, determining effective treatment pathways.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans targeting trauma recovery and emotional resilience.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Engage in crisis intervention strategies to support clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and immediate coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care, making referrals when necessary for medication management or additional support services.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, guiding them through available community resources.

• Maintain detailed and accurate electronic health records (EHR), ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Comprehensive understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based interventions for effective treatment.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client care.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and solid computer skills.
\n
• Ability to contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in providing trauma-informed therapy, with a focus on evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
