Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, utilizing a telehealth platform that allows for flexible interactions with clients, ensuring convenience and accessibility. Our therapists work closely in a collaborative virtual environment, leveraging technology to facilitate effective therapy sessions. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some potential flexibility based on patient needs, allowing you to balance work and personal commitments effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' histories and guide treatment approaches based on their unique needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and actionable goals tailored specifically to each client.

• Implement evidence-based interventions, including methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, enabling clients to process traumatic experiences, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and promote overall mental well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for our clients, attending regular consultations to discuss treatment progress.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that clients receive immediate assistance when in distress.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and resources available to aid in their healing journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions, adhering to legal and ethical standards throughout.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities focusing on the latest advancements in trauma therapy and treatment modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients who are seeking assistance with trauma-related conditions. This may include survivors of various types of trauma, such as physical, emotional, or relational abuse. Your role will be crucial in supporting these individuals through their healing process, providing them with a safe space to explore and cope with their experiences. You will also engage with family members when appropriate to enhance the support network surrounding each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in California as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting.

• In-depth understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n
