Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations by interviewing clients and documenting observations throughout the treatment process.

• Assess the emotional, behavioral, and psychological health of clients, ensuring a thorough understanding of their unique needs and backgrounds.

• Design, implement, and monitor customized treatment plans, adapting approaches to suit individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based interventions to foster engagement and encouragement toward recovery.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records utilizing electronic health record systems such as AVATAR, ensuring seamless documentation and communication.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to develop comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Provide follow-up support for clients transitioning out of inpatient care, ensuring continuity and effectiveness of treatment.

• Identify and mitigate behaviors that hinder recovery, offering guidance to clients and their families in navigating mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Thrive and Strive, you will work with a diverse client base that encompasses individuals facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proven experience in a counseling role, with a strong clinical background in mental health treatment.

• Expertise in using electronic health record systems, ideally with specific familiarity with AVATAR.

• A solid understanding of common mental health conditions, including co-occurring disorders and addiction.

Compensation and Benefits\n
